UNAIDS Tenders

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder and select a suitable contractor to carry out the following task(s):

1. Design and implementation of an application to be ported to mainstream tablets and mobile devices to hold UNAIDS electronic publications in various formats (pdf, epub etc…)
2. Enter into a 2-year agreement (with possibility of a one year extension) for the conversion of UNAIDS publications in electronic format (epub and other formats needed for lot 1) and submission to mainstream distributors (apple iBookstore, amazon, google books etc…).

Bidders can bid for 1, 2 or both.

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement for a two-year period with a successful bidder and select a suitable contractor to carry out the tasks listed below.

1. Supply man power to pack furniture, equipment and documentation.
2. Supply man power to move furniture, equipment and documentation.
3. Supply packing materials.
4. Supply vehicle(s) and driver for removals between the UNAIDS Headquarters building and other UNAIDS office locations or meeting venues in Geneva.

Vendors are requested to propose the best and most cost-effective solution to meet UNAIDS requirements, while ensuring a high level of service.

The purpose of RFP is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder to carry out the Pre-production mastering tasks of the Content Packaging of the 2011 edition of the UNAIDS Electronic Library and post-mastering production.

The Pre-production mastering tasks will require: Software Engineering of new PDF files to bookmark and tag new files, and the data manipulation and programming required to render raw PDF documents into a fully searchable electronic Library resource. Also required will be the review and correction of the bookmarks and tags of existing PDF files.

The Post-mastering production will require the production of sets of CD-ROMs, and/or sets of DVDs and/or USBs and/or web-pages for Cloud or Internet based solutions.
