Former Executive Director of UNAIDS Dr Peter Piot

Dr Peter Piot was Executive Director of UNAIDS from its creation in 1995 until the end of 2008. Prior to his work as Executive Director Dr Piot was a distinguished academic with a scientific career that focused on AIDS and women’s health in the developing world.
