The Office of Global Outreach and Parliamentary Relations works to maintain AIDS on the political, legislative, social, economic, and cultural agendas through campaigns, key events and leadership initiatives.

In addition to supporting the work of the Secretary-General’s Special Envoys on AIDS and UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassadors, the Office supports the work of UNAIDS with parliaments, the world of sports, political platforms such as the Group of Eight (G8) and the African Union, and other key advocacy partners and platforms.
