Oversight Committee Report to the PCB on the Second Independent Evaluation
The Oversight Committee Report on how the Committee has fulfilled its responsibility to the PCB for a credible and independent evaluation process is now available, with the transmittal letter sent from Catherine Hodgkin, Chair of the Oversight Committee, to his Excellency Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Chair of the PCB.

Final Report of the Second Independent Evaluation of UNAIDS

Dear Stakeholders,
I am pleased to advise that the Final Report is now available. It was sent directly to the PCB Chair on September 30th. The Report consists of several zip files, containing the main report, 10 Annexes , and a separate volume with the 12 Country Summaries and the special regional consultation on Asia/Pacific.
The Oversight Committee looks forward to the PCB discussion at the meeting in December.

From the OC Chair: Results of the web-based surveys cited in the Final Report
Dear Stakeholders,
The attached excel files (General Survey and PCB Survey) contain the detailed results of the web-based surveys, as provided by the Evaluation Team in advance of the Final Report. Given their extensive length, the files will not be included as an Annex to the Report, but as survey results are cited as evidence to substantiate findings in the Report, the Oversight Committee wishes to make them publically available for reference.

Table of Contents of the draft Evaluation Report – message from the Chair of the Oversight Committee
Dear Stakeholders, The Oversight Committee has received the draft Evaluation Report according to schedule. Table of Contents is provided for your information. The draft report will be reviewed by the Oversight Committee at its meeting in early September. The Final Report will be sent by the Evaluation Team directly to the PCB Chair on September 30th.

Country Reports
The Oversight Committee is making these Country Reports available to Stakeholders to provide insight into the progress and process of the SIE. The Reports are brief summaries of the extensive data collection undertaken by the Evaluation Team during country visits. They should not be considered as stand-alone documents evaluating country programmes or partners. The Final Evaluation Report will assess the performance of UNAIDS overall, and data collected at country level forms just one part of the evidence. The synthesis of the Final Evaluation Report will draw on evidence at country level, as well as from regional and global data obtained through visits and interviews with the Secretariat, Cosponsors, Member States, donors, civil society, and other partners.
All twelve summary Country Reports will be reproduced in a separate volume, and made available for information with the Final Evaluation Report.

The Second Independent Evaluation of UNAIDS has begun and an Oversight Committee (OC) has been created by the Programme Coordinating Board (PCB) to oversee this Evaluation. It has ten independent members representing a cross-section of UNAIDS stakeholders.
Public information will be available on this web site as it becomes available.
