Partnerships Department

Congruent with UNAIDS principles of advancing human rights and addressing the needs of vulnerable people, the Department of Partnerships contributes to shaping UNAIDS vision in partnership building and expanding partnership base, leveraging resources and broadening the funding base, strengthening and anchoring the role of working relationships with civil society and the private sector and their participation in key policy issues of the Programme. Dr Hedia Belhadj is the Director of the Department.

UN Plus is the UN system-wide advocacy group for staff living with HIV. It was established in 2005 and brings together staff from a range of professional and national backgrounds. It is a part of UN Reform in action as it is inter-agency in nature and is working towards reform of UN policies and practices. More
