The Improved Country Response (ICR) Division generates information on the epidemic and the response to inform and guide decision-making and implementation of AIDS programmes at all levels. It designs and promotes innovative methods for knowledge sharing in order to guide practical, forward-looking programmatic decisions and improve results in communities and at the country level, regionally and internationally. The division leads the harmonization and integration of measurement systems, tracks national and international resource flows, generates estimates on resource needs, and identifies areas for efficiency gains.
