The purpose of this RFP is to select suitable contractors to to produce a mathematical model to estimate historical trends in HIV incidence based on HIV case reporting. The model should be developed to interface with Spectrum software developed by Futures Institute (www.futuresinstitue.org).
Specific products required from this contract include:
Prototype model presented to UNAIDS Reference Group on Estimates Modelling and Projections
Model that can be integrated into Spectrum AIDS Impact Module
User manual including a description of how to ensure the data entered are of adequate quality to ensure reliable results
Summary report of the implementation of the model in three countries
Final code for the model in a publically accessible programming language
