Development of Learning Sessions for Stigma beyond HIV 2014

The purpose of this RFP is to select suitable contractors to design, develop and pilot test an interactive modular series of workshops to help the UN system address issues of stigma and discrimination among its personnel. The specific themes covered with the workshop are sexual orientation and gender identity; disability; mental health; HIV; drug use; and the related human rights.

UN Cares, the United Nations system-wide workplace program on HIV, aims to implement ten Minimum Standards in all UN system offices worldwide. One of those standards is “Learning and training activities on stigma and discrimination.” Additional background on UN Cares and on its previous work to address stigma in the workplace, as well as other resources, is in the Concept Note, the Annex to these terms of reference.
