2011 UN General Assembly High Level Meeting on AIDS
In 2011 a high-level meeting took place during the 65th session of the UN General Assembly to review the Implementation of the Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS and the Political Declaration on HIV/AIDS. A new Political Declaration on HIV/AIDS: Intensifying Our Efforts to Eliminate HIV/AIDS was adopted. General Assembly web site
6th IAS Conference in Rome
The 6th IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention was organized by the International AIDS Society in partnership with the Italian National Institute of Health, the leading technical and scientific body of the Italian National Health Service from 17-20 July 2011 in Rome. ICAAP10
The 10th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific will be convened 26-30 August 2011 in Busan, the Republic of Korea. The theme of the event is “Different Voices, United Action” and it aims to be a platform for diverse voices across the Asia and the Pacific region to deliver united action. Official web site
13th European AIDS Conference
The 13th European AIDS Conference will explore clinical HIV research, highlight the HIV epidemic in the region and bridge the gap between Western and Eastern Europe. It will take place 12-15 October 2011 in Belgrade, Serbia. Official web site
16th ICASA
The 16th International Conference on AIDS and STI in Africa will provide a forum for exchange of lessons learned and experiences gained in evidence-based responses against HIV, and related health problems in Africa.
