UNAIDS Executive Director's bilateral meetings

UNAIDS Executive Director Michel Sidibé regularly meets with representatives from governments, civil society and other international organizations to advance the response to AIDS.

Some of the world’s most prominent leaders, thinkers, and activists in the AIDS response are convening this weekend 28-29 June 2013 in Lilongwe, Malawi for two days of dialogue focused on defining the role of the AIDS response in the post-2015 agenda.

UNAIDS Executive Director Michel Sidibé visited the Isange One Stop Centre located in Kacyiru Police Hospital in Kigali, Rwanda to see services provided for survivors of gender-based violence and child abuse. While at the hospital, Mr Sidibé learnt about the Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission Family Package Programme which was initiated by the First Lady of Rwanda and supported by Imbuto Foundation in collaboration with UN agencies.
