Launch of report "AIDS in Africa: Three scenarios to 2025", March 2005

A new report from UNAIDS, "AIDS in Africa: Three scenarios to 2025", was launched in Addis Ababa on 4 March 2005. The report presents three possible case studies for how the AIDS epidemic in Africa could evolve over the next 20 years based on policy decisions taken today by African leaders and the rest of the world. UNAIDS Executive Director Dr Peter Piot, at the podium, addresses participants gathered at the launch of the report "AIDS in Africa: Three scenarios to 2025".
