Visit to Monaco, June 2006

Dr Peter Piot, UNAIDS Executive Director, visited Monaco to strengthen collaboration between UNAIDS and the Principality of Monaco. He participated in a conference on women and HIV, underlining the importance of accelerating research in new prevention technologies that benefit women. Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie, co-founder of Fight AIDS Monaco, and two women living with HIV also took part in the meeting
