UNAIDS seeks support to the reporting and data use of the National Composite Policy Index (NCPI) Indicator in 2010 UNGASS Reporting. The contractor will update the 2008 NCPI data analysis plan to reflect key information needs for the 2010 Global Report. The UNAIDS Monitoring and Evaluation Division (EVA) is looking for a senior editor and writer or writing team for the production of the 2010 Report on the global AIDS epidemic to be launched in mid-November 2010. The deadline for submissions for this Request for Proposals has been extended to February 5th 2010.

In March 2010 the fourth round of Country Progress Reports will be received by UNAIDS. The 10 year anniversary of the Declaration of Commitment, and the resulting reporting system, will take place in 2011. In preparation for this UNAIDS is seeking a contractor to undertake a review of the UNGASS reporting system.

Country Progress Reports contain both quantitative indicator data and a narrative interpretation of these and other data. The next round of reports is due on March 31st, 2010. UNAIDS is seeking to commission qualitative thematic analysis of the content of the narrative sections of Country Progress Reports.
