Las múltiples facetas de una trabajadora del espectáculo de Camboya
Sopheap empezó como trabajadora del espectáculo en Pnom Penh (Camboya) para salir de la pobreza, hacía que muchas veces se fuera a dormir con hambre. A pesar de que ahora gana lo suficiente para mantener a su familia, acoge con satisfacción esta nueva normativa elaborada por el Ministerio de Trabajo y Formación Profesional de Camboya. En ella se establece que los trabajadores del espectáculo tienen los mismos derechos que el resto de trabajadores. La normativa protege a los trabajadores del espectáculo de la violencia, el acoso sexual, muchas horas de trabajo y salarios bajos, trabajos forzados, incluyendo el consumo obligado de alcohol.
