This publication provides managers with guidance on how to create basic HIV prevention cascades as a starting point to enhance their ability to monitor and improve their programming and to facilitate comparisons of programme effectiveness across sites.

For many people living with HIV, the news that they have zero or almost zero risk of transmitting HIV sexually is life-changing. Access to effective antiretroviral therapy and the resulting viral suppression, with support from the community and the health system, can be transformative for people living with HIV, who are enabled to regain their quality of life, return to work, enjoy a healthy sexual life, have healthy children, and enjoy a future with hope.

This edition of UNAIDS data shows the results of some of those successes, but also the challenges that remain. It contains the very latest data on the world’s response to HIV, consolidating a small part of the huge volume of data collected, analysed and refined by UNAIDS over the years. Defending rights, breaking barriers, reaching people with HIV services

The objective of this research was to better understand and document community-led interventions that aim to strengthen demand creation and uptake of HIV and sexual and reproductive health services, with a focus on engaging young people as beneficiaries, partners and implementers. The primary audience of this report are donors, technical cooperation agencies and government authorities.

Our Gender Action Plan is a tool for transformative change with its targets and commitments paving the way towards a gender-equal workplace. I am proud to share that within just one year, we have made remarkable progress. We have put in motion nine and successfully accomplished eleven of the 30 commitments.
